Women in Law – Options & Opportunities

The Faculty of Law at the University of Calgary is pleased to announce a new program as part of their Continuing Legal Education Series.

A seminar called, Women in Law – Options & Opportunities, will allow senior lawyers to help find their way through the legal profession.

Topics will include:

  • Learning Your Own Strengths for Confidence Building
  • Update on the Current Legal Career Environment
  • Obtaining the Skills for Re-connecting and Networking within the Legal Profession
  • One-on-one Interaction with Current Practitioners in an Entertaining Forum
  • Highlighting Your Options – Traditional and Non-traditional Careers
  • Practical Tips to Create Your Action Plan
  • Networking Reception

(only six bursary spots are available, must have no taxable income in 2009 and submit personal statement of intent with registration)
