- A message from Elizabeth J. Osler
Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director
The Law Society of Alberta made many great strides in 2018, as we continued on our path to become a modern, proactive regulator through changes in our organization and in the legal profession. We remain committed to protecting the public interest and helping lawyers achieve the highest ethical and professional standards.
Throughout 2018, we celebrated many achievements. From a successful engagement around Part-Time Fees, to promoting the work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, to the signing of a new Legal Aid Governance Agreement, we have achieved a number of key strategic goals that continue to support our 2017-2019 Strategic Plan.
