LO106 | Administrative & Boards & Tribunals, Civil Litigation, Corporate & Commercial, Real Estate | Dynamic and busy law office requires experienced lawyer part time in office located in Okotoks. A locum is needed to commence work immediately. You will need to be of a friendly deposition and be able to deal with a myriad of clients for which we require experience in all areas of the law in particular solicitor work including real estate conveyancing and probate. LO107 | Corporate & Commercial | Sole part-time senior practitioner looking for a lawyer interested in starting to work with me and eventually taking over a practice that involves working with clients in their home or office to discuss estate planning or corporate work. Your work will be completed in your home after meeting with clients in their home. The job involves driving to rural areas and to the small towns in Alberta, south and west of Calgary. This position is for someone who is looking to maintain a part-time practice but their main objective is to continue to provide legal services and maintain their skills in these areas of law, rather than earning significant income to support themselves. The intent is that this will evolve to assuming the practice and clients I currently have. This is a position where you provide assistance and guidance for estate planning, and close connection with your clients, rather than just drafting their wills and other documents. Let me know if you like country driving and the freedom from parking costs and traffic. | Calgary | In-person and remotely | Part-time | English |

Salary based on experience. | Other | In-person and remotely | Full-time | English |
LO112 | Real Estate | A solo practitioner is looking for a locum to be in charge of all kinds of real estate closings EXCEPT for sale closings. There are sufficient experienced legal assistants to work under the supervision of the locum who must be experienced in all kinds of real estate closings, and must be a licensed and INSURED Alberta lawyer. I have been focusing on normal used residential real estate closings since 2016 but I hope the locum is more experienced than me so that we could take on more varieties of real estate closings. Remuneration will be discussed at interview. | Calgary | In-person only | Part-time | English |
LO113 | Administrative & Boards & Tribunals, Arbitration & Mediation, Civil Litigation, Constitutional & Human Rights, Labour & Employment | Labour lawyer required by the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) for its Alberta Region, to be located in either Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta.
