- Reconciliation Advisory Roster
Hearing a wide array of Indigenous perspectives is crucial for advancing our work in responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action #27. The Law Society has established a Reconciliation Advisory Roster (the Roster) to include many perspectives in our ongoing engagement with Indigenous people in Alberta. As the need arises, the Roster provides guidance, feedback and suggestions on Law Society programs, issues and resources.
The Law Society will reach out to Roster members to advise based on their experience, interest and availability. The Roster is made up of Indigenous volunteers from both legal and non-legal backgrounds. Members of the Roster can serve for as long as they are able.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Roster, please fill out the sign-up form. Your responses will help us to better understand the various perspectives represented on the Roster. Those who sign-up will be contacted by the Law Society to confirm their participation and may be asked additional questions. Roster members will be canvassed for availability as opportunities arise.
If you have any questions about the Roster, please email Indigenous Initiatives.
